Rejuvenated anarcho rabble-rousers HAGAR THE WOMB have lined-up a rare London show this month and have announced a new single release.

The band, who were originally active on the early-80s anarcho scene and successfully reconvened in 2012, play The Bow Bells, 116 Bow Road on Saturday 30 January with support from FLOWERS IN THE DUSTBIN and ANARCHISTWOOD.

They’ll be issuing a new track ‘Hated By The Daily Mail’ on a joint single with ANTHRAX (UK) (with whom they share guitarist Steph) through Grow Your Own Records in February. It’ll be the band’s first release since their ‘Life Of Lies’ single for All The Madmen in early 2014.

The Hags are currently filling their gigsheet for the year, but already have festival dates confirmed for Get On With It in Brighton in March, Manchester’s 0161 Festival in April and Rebellion’s 20th Anniversary in August.

Check out the video for ‘Life Of Lies’.
