Rejuvenated 70s psych-punks THE BRAINIAC 5 have unveiled a brand new video for a track from last year’s comeback album Exploding Universe.

The video for ‘Your Body’s Alright’ was shot on location at Reckless Records in Berwick Street, London and features a cameo appearance from original member, renowned poet and Cornwall County Councillor, Bert Bisoce.

Originally Coming together in Cornwall, where they recorded several sides with HAWKWIND’s Martin Griffin,  the Brainiac 5 relocated to London in the late 70s, recruiting members from Stiff Records legends PLUMMET AIRLINES. Sharing stages with the likes of the SOFT BOYS and THE BARRACUDAS, they came to the attention of John Peel and Alex Chilton, and received rave reviews for their now highly sought-after Mushy Doubt EP.

Reuniting in 2013, the band released the career-spanning anthology When Silence Was Sound the following year and Exploding Universe – mixed by Griffin and their first new album in more than 30 years! – in 2015.
