SUZI QUATRO ANNOUNCES ALBUM AND TOUR!

SUZI QUATRO has announced a new album and a major tour for 2019.

The glam rock legend has signed a worldwide deal with SPV/Steamhammer and will release No Control on 29 March. It will be preceded by the single ‘No Soul / No Control’ on 15 February.

Suzi and her band embark on an Australian Tour on 16 February, reaching the UK in April for a series of arena dates, including a show at London’s SSE Arena on 11 April.

The Detroit-born bassist has been releasing records since 1966, when she recorded her first sides with The Pleasure Seekers. Moving to the UK, she enjoyed her first No.1 with ‘Can The Can’ in May ’73, going on to achieve no fewer than eleven Top 40 hits. She’s continued releasing albums into the 21st Century with Back To The Drive in 2006, In The Spotlight in 2011 and Quatro, Scott & Powell – featuring Sweet’s Andy Scott and Don Powell from Slade – in 2016.

“These albums were thought about and planned out in great detail,” she says. “I’m proud of all three releases, very proud. But my new album No Control is its own animal.”

Speaking of her new record deal, she adds, “I am very pleased to be releasing my new album on SPV/Steamhammer. I am more than ready to rock n roll my way into 2019!”
