Originally established in 1984 by mod maven and Acid Jazz founder Eddie Piller, for the purpose of releasing records by such mod revivalists as PURPLE HEARTS, SMALL HOURS and LONG TALL SHORTY, the Well Suspect label was revived this spring by former DOCTOR & THE MEDICS, BOYS WONDER and CORDUROY bassist Richard Searle, with a mission to release “music inspired by mod, beat and psychedelia.”
