BAND OF SKULLS have announced a bunch of U.K. dates for the autumn.

The shows come at the end of a busy summer for the Southampton trio, beginning with the release of their fourth album By Default and a raft of festival dates, including Glastonbury. With a sold-out London date already scheduled for the Electric Ballroom on 19 May, the autumn dates feature a show at the Roundhouse on 26 October.

By Default was recorded at the famed Rockfield Studios near Monmouth and was produced by PIXIES producer Gil Norton.

“It’s definitely a new era,” says guitarist Russell Marsden. “The first three records were like a trilogy, a piece of work in of themselves. We wanted to do those things, and we did them all. We took a breath, took a look at what we’d done, and started from scratch again.”

By Default is out through BMG on 27 May and is available to pre-order now on vinyl, CD and download.

Oct 20 Leeds Stylus
Oct 21 Manchester Albert Hall
Oct 22 Newcastle Northumbria Uni
Oct 24 Bristol SWX
Oct 25 Nottingham Rock City
Oct 26 London Roundhouse
Nov 17 Southampton Engine Rooms
