Peter ‘Sleazy’ Christopherson, a veteran of bands including Throbbing Gristle, Psychic TV and Coil, has died aged 55.

Christopherson created record sleeve art in the ’70s for Factory Records and bands like Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd. He took the first promo pic of the Sex Pistols and created window displays for Malcolm McLaren and Vivienne Westwood’s clothes shop, SEX. In 1976 he formed Throbbing Gristle and Industrial Records.
