Swiss garage-blues legend REVEREND BEAT-MAN blows in for a one-off U.K. date next week.

The rockin’ vicar headlines a very special Dirty Water Club Battle of the One Man Bands at Nambucca, Holloway Road, London on Friday 29 July.

A founder member of Bern’s THE MONSTERS, Beat-Man began performing solo in 1999, armed only with a guitar, kick-drum and hi-hat and working under the influence of HOWLIN’ WOLF and HASIL ADKINS. He founded the high-ranking garage label Voodoo Rhythm Records in 1992, going on to release records by the likes of KING KHAN & THE SHRINES, BOB LOG III, HIPBONE SLIM and loads more.

Also on the bill at the event are LEADFOOT TEA – aka Lee of THE GRAVEMEN, THE BRANDED and THEE EXCITERS – and Southend-based BONE ZENO, formerly known as D-66.

Tickets for the gig, priced £12.50, are available from the Dirty Water website.
