JOHNNY MOPED BACK ON THE STREETS!
Original Croydon punks JOHNNY MOPED have announced a special London show to celebrate the release of a brand new album.
With the new album It’s A Real Cool Baby due out on Damaged Goods on 25 March, the band play The Lexington on Pentonville Road on Saturday 23 April. Support comes from TV SMITH & THE BORED TEENAGERS, playing a set of ADVERTS songs, plus THE WEIRD THINGS. Get your tickets here.

Originally formed in 1974, and at times featuring the likes of Chrissie Hynde and Captain Sensible in their line-up, Johnny Moped were early contenders on the London punk scene, featuring on the Live At The Roxy WC2 album and releasing the cult single ‘Hard Lovin’ Man’ and album Cycledelic. The band were the subject of a documentary film Basically, Johnny Moped by Sensible’s son Fred Burns in 2013.
