Punk poet and activist ATTILA THE STOCKBROKER has his autobiography published next month and he’s celebrating with an extensive UK tour.

Arguments Yard takes him from his birthplace on the Sussex coast to a thirty-five year career encompassing the first punk gig in Stalinist Albania, touring East Germany and beyond, to domestic campaigns like Rock Against Racism, Red Wedge, the Miners’ Strike, the Poll Tax and two Gulf Wars.

The book, subtitled Thirty Five Years of Ranting Verse and Thrash Mandola, is published by Cherry Red on 3 September and will be launched at a series of special events as part of the tour, including Festival 800 in Lincoln (3-5 Sept); a show at The Square in his adopted 80s hometown of Harlow with THE PIRANHAS and STEVE DREWETT of NEWTOWN NEUROTICS (11 Sept) ; a London show at The Borderline with his own band BARNSTORMER, Newtown Neurotics and The Piranhas plus comedian JEREMY HARDY and DJ STEVE LAMACQ (25 Sept).

Get tickets for Harlow and London.
