Norfolk ska-punks FAINTEST IDEA have announced the release of their third album for April.

The brilliantly-titled Increasing The Minimum Rage is out on 1 April through Manchester label TNS Records. It’s available to pre-order in various formats here.

“The new record sounds heavier both musically and lyrically than our previous releases” comment the band “With free market capitalism still rampant things don’t look too great for the younger generation. The album is a reflection of the time we find ourselves in, it is the sound of people trying to keep hope in a seemingly bleak future.”

The King’s Lynn sextet recorded the album with legendary ska-punk knob-twiddler Hieronymous Melchers (Citizen Fish, Snuff, Capdown, King Prawn, etc). It was mastered by Massimiliano Giorgini of Anti Flag, Rise Against and Alkaline Trio fame.
