The late Irish guitar legend BERNIE TORMÉ is to be celebrated with a new live album.
Tormé cut his teeth on the London punk circuit sharing stages with the likes of Generation X and Bethnal, and would go on to play in bands with members of both, as well as members of Sham 69 and Anti-Nowhere League, yet became better known for playing with rock giants like Ian Gillan and Ozzy Osbourne. After a long and eclectic career, he sadly passed away in March 2019.
Following Tormé's 'Final Fling' tour in late 2018, which he envisaged would see him scale back on gigging, the guitarist made the decision to capture the tour set for posterity, recording it live at his Barnroom Studio in Kent with band members Mik Gaffney (drums) and Sy Morton (bass).
Mixed and mastered by Tormé's son Eric Tormey, Final Fling is set to be released on 25 November and is available to pre-order in a special bundle here.
The album is trailed by a single and video for the track 'Wild West'...
