South Coast powerpoppers THE STAYAWAKES have a brand new video which they're premiering exclusively with Vive Le Rock!
As clear a declaration of intent as any, 'Power Pop Massacre' is taken from the Southsea quartet's second album Pop Dreamz, which is out now through Engineer Records.
Shot on Hayling Island beach by Ben Horlock, the video is a nod to The Beach Boys, with their candy-striped shirts and frat-house barnets, but the golden chords and fuzzy tones follow the signposts of the hairier 90s sounds of Silver Sun, The Lemonheads and Teenage Fanclub to power pop perfection.
