THE INTERRUPTERS' WILD RETURN!

THE INTERRUPTERS' WILD RETURN!

THE INTERRUPTERS are back with a brand new single and video.

Released today, 'In The Mirror' is the first single to be taken from the band's forthcoming new album In The Wild, which is due out in August.

“I fell into so many self-destructive patterns trying to come to terms with my childhood,” says frontwoman Aimee Interrupter says of the song. “I spent so long trying to run from the pain. No matter how far I ran, there I was…. I realised I needed to make peace with who I saw in the mirror.”

The video was shot by renowned documentary maker Kevin Kerslake, responsible for films about Nirvana (Live! Tonight! Sold Out!!), Joan Jett (Bad Reputation) and The Ramones (We're Outta Here!).

"We are SO EXCITED to announce our fourth full-length album In The Wild,” they say. “We put SO MUCH LOVE into this album. Produced by our very own Kevin Bivona, this album takes you on a journey throughout Aimee’s life and every song is a deep delve. We recorded almost the entire record in our home studio during the lockdown which as we all know was a turbulent time for everyone. The making of the record allowed us to have purpose and to rid our closets of all the skeletons lurking. Humbled and honoured to have features from Tim Armstrong, Rhoda Dakar, Alex and Greg from Hepcat, and The Skints.”

Before the album is released, the band will be joining the likes of SUM 41, DROPKICK MURPHYS and PENNYWISE at this year's Slam Dunk Festival in Leeds and Hatfield.
