THE BEAT GOES ON

Italian post-punk legends NOT MOVING LTD are back with a new album and video.

Formed in Piacenza in 1981 and fusing garage-rock, psych and psychobilly, Not Moving were one of the most prominent bands on the Italian underground scene, often compared with the likes of X, The Cramps and The Gun Club and touring with Johnny Thunders and The Clash.

Splitting in 1989, singer Rita Lilith Oberti, guitarist Dome La Muerte and drummer Antonio Bacciocchi were joined by new guitarist Iride Volpi as Not Moving LTD. They now consolidate their return with their first new music in 34 years on the album Love Beat through Area Pirata.

"Love Beat is the exact representation of what Not Moving LTD is all about, an artistic entity that makes obvious reference to the past and its roots whilst constantly looking forward," say the band. "The nine tracks are the outcome of a long, hard-fought and sincere journey through everything we can define as rock'n'roll. Nothing more, nothing less."
