SPEEDWAYS HIT THE STREET!

SPEEDWAYS HIT THE STREET!

London powerpoppers THE SPEEDWAYS emerge from lockdown with a brand new EP and video.

The Borrowed & Blue EP, as the name suggests, features the band churning out some of their favourite covers.

The new video features their version of HANOI ROCKS' debut album classic '11th Street Kids'.

The EP also includes their rendition of KIRSTY MacCOLL's forlorn indie-pop hit 'They Don't Know' previously released a couple of years ago. Also up for grabs are ABBA's 'S.O.S.', ROKY ERICKSON's 'Starry Eyes' and 'Love Really Hurts Without You' by Romford soul legend BILLY OCEAN.

The Speedways return to the live fray with a show on 17 July at Paper Dress Vintage, Hackney, London alongside RICH RAGANY & THE DIGRESSIONS and YOUNG FRANCIS HI-FI. Get tickets here!

Set for release on 31 May, Borrowed & Blue is available to pre-order on CD, download and limited edition 10" vinyl from Bandcamp.
