Walthamstow band SISTERAY are set to release a new EP next month and they're premiering the lead track exclusively with Vive Le Rock!
'Queen's English' is the opening cut from 15 Minutes, a title inspired by Andy Warhol's famous quote about fame.
Formed in 2014, the quartet came together over a shared love of BUZZCOCKS, THE CLASH, THE KINKS and THE SMITHS. Since then they've been playing up and down the country, performing guerrilla gigs and organising their own club nights, as well as appearing at Camden Rocks, Isle of Wight and Leeds festivals.
The EP was recorded at East London's Lightship 95 studio with producer Rory Attwell of TEST ICICLES and VACCINES fame.
Guitarist Dan Connolly says, "Now more than ever, people seem to be given 15 minutes and 15 minutes only. It's not an album and it's not a single. It's simply a statement about the times we are living in."
15 Minutes is available from 14 April through Vallance Records on vinyl and download. It's available to pre-order here.
