SISTER ARE DOING IT FOR THEMSELVES

US rock supergroup MOTOR SISTER trail their forthcoming album with a brand new video.

'Can't Get High Enough' is taken from the band's long-awaited second album Get Off, which follows on from 2015's Ride.

The band was formed as a covers band for the occasion of Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian's 50th birthday and features he and his wife Pearl Aday, plus Mother Superior singer/guitarist Jim Wilson, Armored Saint bassist Joey Vera and Cult drummer John Tempesta.

Signing to Metal Blade, Ride was comprised of Mother Superior songs, in honour of one of Ian's favourite bands, but this time around they've come up with mostly new material. "We wanted to make a high energy, kick-ass rock'n'roll record from top to bottom,” says Wilson. “All killer, no filler.”

“Our first record Ride was a collection of songs we re-recorded from the band Mother Superior which was great, but I‘m stoked that we had this chance to actually get into a room together and write this batch of all new material. We keep in mind where this band originated from but we get to take it to totally different levels.”

"‘Can‘t Get High Enough‘ is a straight-up ripper from start to finish,” adds Ian about the single.
