Rejuvenated 70s rockers SHARKS issue a new single later this month and are launching the video exclusively with Vive Le Rock!
Even though the band was formed back in 1972, ‘One Last Thrill’ will be the first attempt by Sharks to penetrate the UK singles market.
The video was directed by Sharks vocalist Steve ‘Snips’ Parsons and edited by Jack Judd at Floodwater Films. Snips comments, “We tried to make sure that the clip is infused with the distinctive aroma of the early seventies - you had to be there to know that particular smell. It features not only Sharks old and new (8 in all) but other artists who were involved with the band such as John Entwistle, Brian Eno and Leslie West. There is of course a Womble involved.”
Chris Spedding will be interviewed about these and other matters on Jools Holland’s BBC Radio 2 show to be broadcast on 19 September. The single will be released digitally on 30 September through 3Ms Records to coincide with the climax of Sharks’ first UK tour in 42 years. Full dates are…
