NWOSR (New Wave Of Southern Rock) contenders THE GEORGIA THUNDERBOLTS are about to release their debut EP and are sharing their latest video.
'Lend A Hand' is just one of five songs on the band's self-titled release. Hailing from Rome - Rome, Georgia that is - the five-piece recorded the tracks at Barrick Recording Studio in Glasgow - Glasgow, Kentucky that is - a facility also used by the likes of Nashville Pussy, Black Stone Cherry and Nine Pound Hammer.
"In Georgia, you hear Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Allman Brothers, and all of the greats everywhere,” they comment. “Rock and roll is something that comes naturally for us. We love it and are in it for the long haul. We feel like we can bring it back.”
Set for release on 21 August through Mascot, The Georgia Thunderbolts is available to pre-order here.
