Subcultural footwear specialists UNDERGROUND go to the flicks next month with an al fresco screening of Derek Jarman's punk classic Jubilee.
Furnishing footwear to freaks and fans for forty years, Underground have hooked up with Rebel Reel Cine Club to stage a series of 40th Anniversary film screenings of which Jubilee is the first.
Originally released in 1978, Jubilee locked into the punk zeitgeist with a cast including Adam Ant, Toyah Willcox, Jayne County, Helen Wellington-Lloyd, Gene October and Richard O'Brien and featuring cameos from Siouxsie & The Banshees and The Slits.
The screening takes place on 15 July in the courtyard of the Strongroom Bar & Kitchen
in London's Shoreditch. The screening will be followed by a DJ set until midnight.
Tickets priced £15 are available here.
