The film will be screening at Hackney Picturehouse, London on Sunday 13 November at 6pm, and will be followed by a Q&A with Richards and members of the band. Tickets are on sale now here.
After the screening there'll be a very special after-show party round the corner at The MOTH Club in Valette Street, featuring a love set by the band themselves. Tickets are available here.
The show also serves as a launch for the release of their debut album on vinyl for the first time ever. Originally released in 2002 and produced by Jim Reid from THE JESUS AND MARY CHAIN, the remastered album will be pressed in both pink and black vinyl, with new artwork, liner notes and photos. Set for release by Rastilho Records on 11 November, it's available to pre-order here.
Now in its third year, the Doc'n'Roll film festival features 17 films, plus numerous Q&A's with directors and their accomplices. Films selected for screening this year include Sad Vacation - The Last Days Of Sid & Nancy, The Colossus Of Destiny: A Melvins Tale, BAD BRAINS doc HR: Finding Jospeh I, The Rise And Fall Of The Clash and My Buddha Is Punk, a fascinating glimpse into the punk scene in Myanmar.
