MICHAEL MONROE has unveiled a second single from his forthcoming new album.
The swaggering 'Can't Stop Falling Apart' is taken from the former Hanoi Rocks frontman's forthcoming I Live Too Fast To Die Young, and follows on from last month's 'Murder The Summer Of Love' single.
“It’s an ode to our wives and loved ones who have stuck by our sides through years of playing music and touring the world,” says Monroe about the new single. “But this can also apply to any person working hard, away from home a lot of the time, who is lucky enough to have a loved one sticking by their side through thick and thin. So, it’s a celebratory song to our nearest and dearest who are always there for us.”
“It's a big, 1970s Slade-inspired glam stomper,” comments guitarist Rich Jones. “It celebrates our loved ones who support us through the ups and downs of being a touring musician."
“Try to focus on the positive,” Monroe adds. “Because what you focus on usually tends to multiply…”
Recorded towards the end of last year at Inkfish Studios in Helsinki, the new album features eleven new songs produced by Monroe and the band along with engineer Erno Laitinen and features special guest Slash from Guns N' Roses on the title track.
