'Make It Real' is taken from the Buenos Aires band's fourth album Friends & Lovers, the follow-up to 2013's Total Exposure. Set for release through Fire Records on 14 October, it's available to pre-order here.
Produced by Iván Diaz Mathé, who’s worked on their previous records, the latest album was recorded in Demolition Sounds Studios.
Coming together in 2005, Las Kellies debuted with Shaking Dog! in 2007, following it with Kalimera in 2009, which drew inspiration from the likes of DEVO and ESG and heralded their first international tour. Signing to Fire Records, they went on to release a split 7" with ESG, followed by Total Exposure.
Las Kellies - who comprise Silvina Kelly and Cecilia Kelly - are set to embark on a series of European dates, on which they'll be joined by their newest member and bassist, Manuela Ducatenzeiler. Catch them on the road at....
