The band, fronted by HELLACOPTERS guitarist Nicke Andersson alongside DATSUNS bassist Dolph de Borst, plus guitarist Tobias Egge and drummer Tomas Eriksson, release Honk Machine through Psychout on 21 August. The video for the Byrdsy ‘All Over My Head’ provides an intriguing first glimpse.

Initially a post-Hellacopters solo project for Andersson, Imperial State Electric evolved into a band for 2010’s self-titled debut, followed by Pop War (2012) and Reptile Brain Music (2013).
