Nottingham blue-collar rockers HUNCH POWER are set to release their debut single later this year and they're premiering the video exclusively with Vive Le Rock!
A protest song in tribute to victims of the Covid pandemic, 'Stop The World' was produced, mixed and mastered by producer Sam Cook (Harker, Ducking Punches) at his Playing Aloud studio in Lincolnshire and is set for release on 2 September.
"The song was inspired by the social unrest caused by the Partygate scandal going on at Downing Street during the Covid lockdowns plus the lack of action with regards to the Climate Emergency," say the band.
Fronted by vocalist/guitarist Harvey Springfield, Hunch Power also feature guitarist Dean Burton and bassist Oliver Tanner. They were joined on drums for the recording by Jack Gregory (Northern Captives, Hell's Ditch).
'Stop The World' is available to pre-save on Spotify now, with a pre-sale to be announced through Bandcamp, the band explaining, “We wanted to give Bandcamp some advantage because they’ve done so much to support independent artists during the Covid crisis”.
Hunch Power play The Golden Fleece, Nottingham on Thurs 21 July.
