The five-track Art Is Dead - featuring the single 'Throw Me Away' - is available to download now through Bandcamp and iTunes, and on CD at gigs.
With a sound rooted in primitive electronica, fronted by Cam Bradbury's soaring, cinematic vocal, the Leeds-based duo call to mind the earliest outings by SOFT CELL and others from the Yorkshire soldering-iron scene. The coruscating FX-laden post-punk guitar of Dan Knights adds a whole other sonic dimension. Aural images of early-80s electronica are underlined by Bradbury's occasional melodica, reminiscent of both NEW ORDER and a pre-THE THE Matt Johnson.
Definitely a band on the up, catch them on the road at....
