Fab London rock'n'rollers THE FUTURE SHAPE OF SOUND are back with a new single and they're premiering it exclusively with Vive Le Rock!
The rousing Gospel-driven rock'n'soul floorshaker 'Joy' first appeared on the band's Shakedown Gospel album, released last year through Gypsy Hotel Records to a glowing 9-out-of-10 review in the pages of Vive Le Rock!
Recorded at the band's Space Eko Studios in East London, the single features contributions from the Urban Voodoo Machine's Paul-Ronney Angel, and the Blues Kitchen Gospel Choir. Highlight of the track, though, is the sumptuous lead vocal of Suri Sumatra.
The band will be launching 'Joy' with a very special party at The Underdog Gallery, London Bridge on Saturday 14 September, with sets from FSOS, Paul-Ronney Angel and DJs Barry 'Scratchy' Myers and 7 Inch Max.
The band will also be appearing at Gypsy Hotel's 13th Birthday Party, at Nambucca, London on Friday 11 October.
