Eco-friendly psych-rockers THE MOTHERS EARTH EXPERIMENT unleash their debut single on Record Store Day.
The six-piece Birmingham band have been together for two years, and in that time have supported the likes of GONG, ACID MOTHERS TEMPLE, ARTHUR BROWN, NIK TURNER'S SPACE RITUAL and PURSON as well as appearing on the main stage at last year's Lunar Festival.
Signed to Birmingham institution Swordfish Records - also responsible releases by GODFLESH, DAVE KUSWORTH and ROKY ERICKSON - the band's debut single, the enviroskeptic-frustrating 'Cool Down Mama', is released on Saturday 22 April as a limited edition 7".
The band's self-titled debut album is set for release on Friday 19 May on CD and limited edition multicoloured gatefold vinyl. It's available to pre-order now through Amazon.
The Mothers Earth Experiment play The Borderline, London on Wednesday 10 May as support to GOLDRAY. Get your tickets here.
