South Coast gothic Americana outfit FRANK FROM BLUE VELVET have a new video which they're premiering with Vive Le Rock!

Shimmering with ghostly backing vocals and Duane Eddy Gretsch twang, 'Everyone's Got A Plan' is taken from the Hastings quartet's forthcoming self-titled debut album.

“Paraphrasing a Mike Tyson quote the band turn it to an existential quagmire," says singer/guitarist Andrew J Davies. "'Everyone’s Got A Plan (Until Their Face Gets Punched)’ taps into lives of shattered dreams, love affairs never to be started and life trapped in a small northern town. With drifting harmonies and guitar chords like paper-cuts the song swoons to its counterpoint ending. And like some dystopian zombie flick there was never a happy ending in sight.”

Formed in 2019 by Davies and Peter And The Test-Tube Babies' drummer Og's, the band's line-up is completed by Karen Davies on vocals and percussion and Ruby Lyons on bass, although the live line-up expands to feature more guitars and banjo.

Set for release on 26 October, Frank From Blue Velvet is available to pre-order here.
