‘Captain Johnny Clash’ is taken from their long-awaited second album The Devil’s Mariner, which was produced by none other than THEATRE OF HATE and SPEAR OF DESTINY legend, Kirk Brandon. You can buy the album here.
Originally founded in 2010, Folk Grinder is brainchild of singer/guitarist Koozie Johns, plus a revolving cast of musicians. Having worked over the years with numerous punk and rock luminaries including various members of THE CLASH, SEX PISTOLS, TENPOLE TUDOR and DOGS D’AMOUR, for The Devil’s Mariner, Johns has been aided and abetted by the likes of Will Crewdson (FLESH FOR LULU, ADAM ANT, RACHEL STAMP), Chris Musto (JOHNNY THUNDERS, BERMONDSEY JOYRIDERS), Kurt Barnes (KING KURT) and backing singers THE REBELLES (Tracie Hunter, Elizabeth Westwood and Phoebe White).
