Two ex-members of much-touted Arizona/California Vox-rockin' quartet THE DARTS have teamed up in a new outfit.
Guitarist/singer Michelle Balderrama and drummer Rikki Styxx have hooked up with ex-CIVET and TURBULENT HEARTS singer/bassist Suzi Moon in explosive power trio L.A. MACHINA, fusing heavy psych grooves with powerhouse rock'n'roll.
"We’re kinda like Josie & The Pussycats,” Moon says. "But with LSD and way more distortion."
The trio have already sparked the interest of Alternative Tentacles, and have been lined up for Punk Rock Bowling in Las Vegas next spring. Check out their debut video 'Teenage Head' - not the FLAMIN' GROOVIES song!
