Entering into the Xmas spirit, the chirpily-titled 'Unleash The Misery' is the third single to be drawn from the Preston band's acclaimed album The Worst Show On Earth.
Released through Crackedankles Records, 'Unleash The Misery' c/w 'Tongue Cushion' is available on 7" (limited to 300 copies) and download from Bandcamp.Written and directed by Giles Bastow, the video stars Joanne Mitchell and James Foster.
Says bandmember Filthydirty: "The director Giles Bastow approached us about making a short film to accompany the single as opposed to a 'promo video'. Giles is a total Horror movie buff but wanted to make a short film with a twist: he wanted to subvert the cliche of the 'helpless girl who is always the first victim' and wanted to portray the female character as the stronger victor."
