'Tell Me About Your Love' is the second single to be lifted from the band's forthcoming second album As I Fell which is set for release through Submarine Cat on 17 August. The song was written after frontman Felix Bechtolsheimer visited his Grandfather in hospital shortly before he passed away last year.
"I witnessed a conversation between my Grandfather and my Grandmother, who had been married for sixty-nine years and hadn't spent more than a handful of nights apart in all that time,” says Felix. “My Grandfather had lived through the Holocaust where he lost a lot of family and he had lost his son a few years ago, but he insisted that his life had been amazing. He said that he would love to hang around a few more years but that he was ready whenever his time came. Then he took her hand and said, tell me the stories of our life. And I watched them hold hands and look out over the lake together as they recalled their adventures. It was one of the most emotional things I have ever witnessed but it was also incredibly inspiring."
The album, which was produced by Oli Bayston at Rancho V, a remote desert studio in Joshua Tree, California and Flesh & Bone Studios in Hackney, is accompanied by a documentary, Somewhere In Their Heads, by Gregg Houston, which has been nominated for Best Short Documentary at the Los Angeles Film Awards, Best Cinematography at the Independent Shorts Film Festival, Best International Short Film at the Summerfolk Short Film Showcase in Canada, and Best Director and Best Short Documentary at the World Music & Independent Film Festival Awards.
