'Acre Lane' is the first track to be aired from the album Practice by THE CLANG GROUP.
A founding member of influential Liverpool art-school proto-punks DEAF SCHOOL, Langer went on to become an in-demand producer, working with the likes of ELVIS COSTELLO, MADNESS, DEXYS MIDNIGHT RUNNERS, THE TEARDROP EXPLODES, MORRISSEY, THE ROCKINGBIRDS and many more.
Having reunited with Deaf School in 2006, Langer formed The Clang Group two years ago on turning 60. He recorded Practice at Iguana Studio in Brixton, with various musical friends including Suggs from Madness and Andy Mackay from ROXY MUSIC. Due for release on 30 September, Practice is available to pre-order as a limited signed vinyl edition from Domino Records.
