Rising Aussie rockers CIVIC herald their forthcoming second album with a new video out today.

'End Of The Line' is the first single to be taken from the album Taken By Force, the follow-up to the Melbourne quintet's 2021's widely acclaimed debut Future Forecast.

The new album was recorded in the Castlemaine countryside with Radio Birdman frontman Rob Younger in the producer's chair and was mixed and mastered by Mikey Young (Total Control, Eddy Current, Sonny & The Sunsets).

“I wrote that song about a solo trip I took around Europe in my early 20s, and the anxiety of realizing I had no one to protect me but myself," explains frontman Jim McCullough about the single. "It’s about the realization of your own mortality, and finding peace in a chaotic moment that you have no control over.”

Taken By Force is set for release on 10 February through ATO and available to pre-order here.
