Cali ska-punks THE BRUCE LEE BAND highlight anti-Asian hate crime with their new single and video.
'Division In The Heartland' is the lead track from the band's new EP which is out on 28 May through band frontman Mike Park's Asian Man Records, the label founded by band frontman Mike Park.
The evocative time-lapse video for the track features artist Gilbert Armendariz working on a painting that highlights the songs's themes of domestic strife and powerlessness.
The band will be auctioning the painting to raise money for the non-profit Stop AAPI Hate, targeting racism against Asian American Pacific Islander communities which has risen during the Covid 19 pandemic.
Open exclusively to bidders in the US, the auction will take place on the Asian Man Records eBay page on Friday 2 April.
'Division In The Heartland' is available to stream now on Spotify, Apple and Bandcamp.
