Legendary Seattle punks THE BRIEFS hit the UK next month for a rare London date on their European tour.
Inspired by the likes of the Undertones, Buzzocks and The Toy Dolls, these bleach-blonde buzzsaw brats have been going since 2000, when they released their debut album Hit After Hit, spawning the stop-start punk disco floorfiller 'Poor And Weird'. Since then, they've release six albums with this year's Platinum Rats, for Damaged Goods, coming after a long absence from the racks.
Sharp-eyed readers will also recognise frontman Steve E Nix and bassist Stevie Kicks from powerpoppers THE CUTE LEPERS, who released three albums through Damaged Goods between 2008 and 2011.
The Briefs play The Lexington, London on Sunday 8 December with support from French synth punks THE SCANERS and fast-rising London powerpop squad THE SPEEDWAYS. Tickets are on sale here.
