Veteran L.A. rockers CRUZADOS are back with a brand new album this month. Nearly 35 years after their last!
Set for release on 28 January through Deko Records, the recently revitalised band's She's... Automatic! follows belatedly on from the band's second album After Dark, which came out in 1987, before they split in 1990.
Formed in 1984 out of the ashes of East L.A. punks The Plugz, Cruzados shifted styles in a more rock direction, which saw them release two albums for Arista and a spot in the Patrick Swayze action movie Road House.
Band members Chalo Quintana and Marshall Rohner found work with the likes of Izzy Stradlin, T.S.O.L. and Social Distortion but have since passed away. Now founding bassist Tony Marisco has put together a new line-up featuring members of The Dogs and Little Caesar.
Recorded during the winter of 2021, She's... Automatic! features guest appearances from the likes of Dave Alvin, John Doe, Dave Hidalgo and Steve Berlin from Los Lobos, Melanie Vammen (Muffs, Pandoras, Leaving Trains, etc) and T.S.O.L.'s Greg Kuehn.
