New album Somnia continues a particularly fruitful relationship with Cherry Red Records, following on from 2020's Hawkwind Light Orchestra album Carnivorous and the live album 50th Anniversary Live.

As the name implies, Somnia takes the theme of sleep, drawing on mythology, fever dreams, strange encounters and sleepless paranoia for inspiration.

Set for release on 10 September, Somnia is available to pre-order here.

The band are also planning tour dates for September, followed by a date at London Palladium, rescheduled from earlier this year.

As previously announced, the band also headline the Big Top stage at this year's Beautiful Days festival at Escot Park, Devon.
