Pioneering post-punk supergroup SHRIEKBACK return with their first live show in 25 years! And Vive Le Rock has 10 PAIRS OF TICKETS TO GIVE AWAY!!!
Formed in 1981 by former XTC keyboard player Barry Andrews and ex-GANG OF FOUR bassist Dave Allen, Shriekback recruited guitarist Carl Marsh and drummer Martyn Barker, embarking on the exploration of the outer reaches of punk-infused dance music with infectious singles like 'Lined Up', 'My Spine (Is The Bassline)' and 'Nemesis' and the indie-dance crossover classic Oil & Gold album.
For their show at London's Shepherds Bush Empire on Saturday 3 June, Andrews, Marsh and Barker will be joined by PiL bassist Scott Firth, plus sometime live collaborators Steve Halliwell, Mike Cozzie and Wendy and Sarah Partridge.
