WONK UNIT alumnus XRAY VEZ strikes out on her own with a new video which she's premiering exclusively with Vive Le Rock!
'Alkaline Trio Tattoo' follows on from her debut solo single 'Buzzcut' which was released last year.
Produced with the help of Simon Short of The Drowns, Vez says "'Alkaline Trio Tattoo' was written when I was single in the pandemic, and it's a tongue-in-cheek take on modern dating. It's about trying to get close to someone through a computer screen, and realising no matter what you do you gravitate to the same sorts of people. Also, I met a LOT of people with the same Alkaline Trio Tattoo."
The video, which was shot in Brighton by Huw Takser and Jake Fedarb, is "a mix of the more whimsical elements of my personality and songwriting, whilst being a bit unsettling at the same time," she adds.
'Alkaline Trio Tattoo' is available on all the usual streaming services from today.
