Death Ray Cat, singer/guitarist with Leeds rockabillies X RAY CAT TRIO, has re-surf-aced with a new band, THE X RAY SURF VEHICLE.
Also featuring James Shakeshaft, Ben Bowers, Naomi Gott and Tommy Cruikshanks, Death Ray (aka El Nico) first brought his Gretschy twang to bear with the band playing Newcastle's annual Summer Surf Bonanza in August.
Catching a wave of approval from the audience, the band have decided to make a thing of it and are in the process of recording their debut album at Windy Ridge Studio in north-west London with producer Rex Roulette.
