WHAT'S IN A FAKE NAME?

Post-punk supergroup FAKE NAMES have unveiled another new single from their forthcoming second album.

'Expendables' is the title track and second single to be lifted from the band's forthcoming second album, following on from 'Delete Myself', released a couple of months back.

Comprising the cream of the US post-hardcore scene, Fake Names feature guitarists Brian Baker (Minor Threat, Bad Religion, Dag Nasty) and Michael Hampton (S.O.A., Embrace), singer Dennis Lyxzén (Refused, INVSN, The [International] Noise Conspiracy), bassist Johnny Temple (Girls Against Boys, Soulside) and drummer Brendan Canty (Fugazi, Rites of Spring.)

"That song has so much classic Michael Hampton in it that I just laugh every time I play it," says Baker. "It’s just so hooky and it’s got this soaring chorus that still excites me now and I’ve heard it, like, 175 times."
