Having celebrated their 40th Anniversary last year, THE VIBRATORS have their career highlighted with a new box set next month.
The Epic Years 1976-1978 includes their classic 1977 debut Pure Mania and its follow-up V2 from '78, both CDs featuring bonus tracks.
A third CD brings together three sessions for John Peel, along with four tracks recorded for BBC TV's Old Grey Whistle Test.
The fourth CD features a live set recorded at London's legendary Marquee Club, incorporating the full 19-track mixing desk version rather than the overdubbed and truncated recording.
The set is completed by a booklet featuring comprehensive sleevenotes by Vive Le Rock's Shane Baldwin.
Scheduled for release on 31 March, the box set is available to pre-order here.
As previously announced the 1978 line-up of the band - featuring bassist Gary Tibbs - play a special one-off show at The Hope & Anchor in London on Thursday 2 March. Tickets, which are going very fast, are on sale here.
