Fast-rising Sheffield garage punks 39th GATE OF HELL get in the spirit of Hallowe'en with their new single and video.
'Vampire' is the follow-up to the highly praised 'Love Hearts', released last month.
"What if I was a vampire?” asks vocalist Ayse Balkose. “I had the idea of a vampire deciding on what the daily ritual might be like, from deciding what to wear all the way to what daily pastimes or living situation might be. The whole thing seemed a bit comical to me.”
The video for the single mixes footage shot in Austin, Texas with scenes of band during the recording process at Sheffield's Golden Sound Studio.
'Vampire' is available now from Bandcamp.
