After making its debut on the film festival circuit last year, director Gorman Bechard’s well-received music documentary about The Replacements, Color Me Obsessed, is due to be released on DVD via MVD Entertainment Group.
The two-hour film, which comes out on DVD on November 20th 2012, includes interviews with Craig Finn, Tommy Ramone, Grant Hart, and Patrick Stickles.
The American punk rock band, who formed in 1979, have recently reunited to record an EP of covers. Singer Paul Westerberg and bassist Tommy Stinson have recorded 4 cover songs for a 10-inch record which will be limited to just 250 copies.
The record will be auctioned online with the proceeds going to Replacements guitarist, Slim Dunlap, who suffered a stroke earlier this year.
