THE MISSION JOIN TOMORROW'S GHOSTS!

THE MISSION JOIN TOMORROW'S GHOSTS!

THE MISSION have been announced as Friday night headliners for this year's Tomorrow's Ghosts Halloween Gathering.

Taking place over the weekend of 27-29 October at North Yorkshire's Whitby Pavilion, as previously announced, the Vive Le Rock-sponsored event will also feature sets from Saturday night headliner The 69 Eyes, Theatre Of Hate, The March Violets, Salvation, Auger and Westenra plus after-hours club nights from Carpe Noctum.

Formed by Wayne Hussey and Craig Adams following the 1985 schism in the Sisters Of Mercy, The Mission scored a dozen Top 40 singles and five Top 40 albums, as well as headlining the Reading Festival in '87 and '89, before going on hiatus in '96. Their most recent album, 2016's Another Fall From Grace, also rocketed into the UK Top 40, proving that there's still a lot of love out there for the band.

As well as teaming up with Vive Le Rock, the event will also be partnering with the Sophie Lancaster Foundation, a charity committed to stamping out prejudice, hatred and intolerance everywhere in memory of Sophie, killed in a hate-related attack in 2007.

Weekend and day tickets are on sale here.
