RED DOOR SOUNDS a not only a recording studio, it is the new and truly very
exciting venture between Rae Harvey and Woody Annison of Crucial Music along
with Chris Cheney of The Living End and his wife Emma Cheney.
The four of them have just completed overhauling the Melbourne studio
previously known as Studio One, housed in a former church in Collingwood.
Between them they have a vast experience across many facets of the music
industry in roles such as: producer, manager, songwriter, live engineer,
promoter, label manager and touring & recording artist.

THE LIVING END took up headline duties at the final JD Set event of the
year, and we have heard from some very happy fans that it was an incredible
show. With the sun setting over the sea and the stage right by the water,
the band pulled out some new material before an eager crowd. We will be
sure to bring you the fine footage captured by Channel [V] so that we might
all pretend we were in attendance. For now, there are some select photos of
the event here.
The Living End will also be taking their world class rock show up a notch as
they fill the slot of Australian headliner at the Falls, Southbound and
Sunset Sounds festivals. Catch the band in their element on a big stage as
the weather heats up and the holidays kick into gear.
Following all of this of course is the ever encroaching prospect of a brand
new album from The Living End. This follow up to the wildly successful White
Noise album is coming together slowly but surely and 2011 is shaping up to
be very busy indeed. Who knows, you may even hear some new tunes from The
Living End in coming months. As always our lips are sealed, all to be
revealed in good time.
