Leeds-based rockers THE CITY KIDS have a brand new video which they're premiering exclusively with Vive Le Rock!
Low-slug and supercharged, 'Filth' is the title track from the quartet's latest album which came out last Autumn through Very Fried Records.
That they're named after the Pink Fairies' street-punk anthem later covered by Motorhead should tell you all you need to know about The City Kids' brand of greasy punk'n'roll, while their line-up fronted by Main Grains man JJ Watt and featuring sometime members of Warrior Soul, Shameless, Falling Red and Tigertailz presents an impressive pedigree.
The album was recorded in Leeds, Nottingham, Carlisle and Copenhagen during Covid lockdown with Andy Brook and Dave Draper, two sought-after producers with their hands on the sliders of the new rock'n'roll, marking Filth out as one of the strongest rock albums of last year, with a crazed eye on the year ahead.
