THE EVIL HAS LANDED!

THE EVIL HAS LANDED!

BALAAM AND THE ANGEL have unveiled a new video ahead of a raft of summer and autumn dates.

'Forces Of Evil' (Radio Edit) is a remastered and edited version of the title track from the last autumn's 12" EP, representing the trio's first new music in more than three decades. The track was produced by Christophe Bride (Theatre Of Hate, Spear Of Destiny) at Manchester's Oxygene Studios, while the video was directed and filmed by Adam Smith.

“The aim of the edit was to adjust the arrangement of the song to make it even punchier and focus attention on the lyrical content," says guitarist Jim Morris. "The song deals, controversially, with the contradiction that exists between the religious doctrines of all faiths, that promote the idea of love and understanding, and the development of intolerant ideologies that support the abuse and persecution of followers of different faiths."

Picking up on these themes, the video conveys the message, “The faithful are the ones who pay the price….”

'Forces Of Evil' (Radio Edit) is available from all the usual digital platforms.
